About Mark's Tutoring
Hi, I’m Mark.
I work with students who are struggling in math and students who want to be challenged and get ahead.
A lot of kids aren’t bad at math. It just hasn’t been explained in a way that makes sense to them. Once it clicks, everything changes. I’ve helped hundreds of students turn math from their most frustrating subject into their strongest one.
Every session is one-on-one with me. There’s no rotating tutors and no handing your child off to a college student or assistant. I get to know how each student thinks and teach in a way that actually works for them.
I’m a former math teacher and an engineer, but what matters most is that I enjoy teaching and know how to explain things clearly and patiently. My goal is for students to build enough confidence and understanding that they don’t need tutoring forever.
If your student needs support, a challenge, or just a better explanation than they’ve been getting, I’d be happy to help.
What I Specialize In
Middle School Math (Pre-Algebra, 6th–8th Grade Foundations)
High School Math (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry)

I work with students nationwide through 1-on-1 Zoom sessions. My goal is to break your child's reliance on personal tutoring. It's a bittersweet moment when that happens.
Whether your child needs patient, judgment-free teaching, wants to get ahead, or is aiming for advanced courses and an engineering future — I’d be happy to speak with you.
